Community Hall and see Possums just the way you remember it.

What is Possums?

  • Possums is a community based non-proft playcentre, managed by the parents of the children enrolled.
  • Possums offers a quality and caring pre-kinder experience for 3-5 year olds in the greater Hobart area.
  • Possums is licenced by the Child Care Unit of the Department of Education.

What will my child gain from coming to Possums?

The Playcentre is an opportunity for your child to:

  • learn to play in a relaxed and stimulating environment
  • learn to socialise with the other children
  • continue to develop self-esteem, confidence, co-operation and independence in a group situation
  • further develop language, motor skills and creative talents

When and where are sessions held?

Sessions are held during school term time:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Terms 1 and 2
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Term 3
  • from 9.00am to 12.00 noon
  • at the Taroona Community Hall, Batchelor Way in Taroona
